The 2010 Chateau Ferriere is a powerful and colorful wine from the Margaux appellation. It boasts a nose of raspberry, blackcurrant, and spices, with ripe and tasty tannins on the palate. This wine is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, and 2% Cabernet Franc, aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. The vineyard spans 24 hectares of deep gravels on a limestone substrate, benefiting from exceptional climatic conditions in 2010. The wine is well-balanced with excellent acid/alcohol/tannin harmony, making it a great reference vintage.

Chateau Ferriere is a renowned winery located in the heart of the Margaux appellation. Owned by Claire Villars Lurton, the estate spans 24 hectares of deep gravels on a limestone substrate. The 2010 vintage benefited from exceptional climatic conditions, resulting in a powerful and well-balanced wine. The winemaking process includes hand-picking, plot vinification, and gentle extraction with natural yeasts, followed by 18 months of aging in French oak barrels.
