The 2020 Chateau Cissac is a classic Bordeaux blend that showcases the elegance and balance of the Haut-Medoc region. This wine is rich with black fruits and underlying tannins, offering a harmonious structure that promises to age gracefully. The nose reveals aromas of ripe currants, cedar, and tobacco leaf, while the palate is vibrant and chewy with earthy undertones. Crafted by winemaker Laurent Saint Pasteur, the wine undergoes fermentation in truncated and thermo-regulated wooden and stainless steel vats, followed by 14 months of aging in French oak. The vineyards are situated on a gravel plateau at an altitude of 27.5 meters, benefiting from the unique terroir of the Garonne River deposits.
