2015 Clotilde Davenne Chablis 1er Cru Montmains
The 2015 Chablis 1Er Cru Montmains, which spent 12 months on the lees, has a clean and precise bouquet, with wet slate and granite aromas complementing the citrus fruit. The palate is balanced with tangy marmalade and tangerine notes on the entry. There's good acidity but a lack of Chablis-like mineralité and tension on the finish. Not bad, but the 2014 was better.
