2015 Valandraud Blanc 瓦蘭佐酒莊幹白葡萄酒
91-93
The 2015 Valandraud Blanc is a blend of 40% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Sauvignon Gris and 20% Sémillon matured in new oak (cigar-shaped 300- and 500-liter barrels). Strangely, it is more reticent on the nose than the Virginie Blanc at the moment, but there are attractive mango and dried pineapple scents that emerge with time. The palate is fresh and crisp on the entry, the oak nicely integrated and allowing those subtle tropical notes to blossom on the finish. This could evolve into a very classy white Saint Émilion.
