品飲筆記:2001 年的靚次伯散發出橄欖醬(tapenade)、月桂葉與甘草的香氣,伴隨紅、黑醋栗和一抹潮濕泥土、全新馬鞍皮的陳年韻味。酒體中等,酸度清新,單寧已圓潤化開,入口順滑、餘韻帶有鹹香與礦物感,整體風格優雅而不誇張。
酒莊與田地:靚次伯為五級名莊,由 Cazes 家族經營,葡萄園坐落於典型的加龍砂礫(Garonne gravel)土壤,帶來良好排水與成熟度控制,讓酒款保有礦質與輪廓。
釀造與陳年:採摘以人工分選,採用重力流並在恆溫不鏽鋼發酵槽中進行,賦予純淨果味;之後以法國橡木桶陳年 15 個月(65% 新桶),木質香與香料感被細緻地融入酒體中。

Tasting Note: The fully mature 2001 shows an aromatic weave of tapenade, bay leaf and liquorice layered over red and black currants, damp earth and new saddle leather. Medium-bodied and unexpectedly graceful for Lynch-Bages, it offers bright, fresh acidity, silky, fully resolved tannins and a moderately long, savory finish — lighter and more old‑fashioned in profile than the opulent 2000s.
Producer Notes: Château Lynch‑Bages regards 2001 as a very good, classic vintage: not about sheer weight but about purity, freshness and finesse. The estate highlights the wine’s clarity and approachable character as it evolves into a classical Pauillac expression.
Winemaking Notes: Hand‑picked and sorted at the vineyard, fermentation follows a traditional, gravity‑fed approach in thermoregulated stainless steel vats. The wine was aged 15 months in French oak barrels (65% new), imparting structure and subtle spice while preserving the wine’s primary fruit and minerality.
Vineyard Notes: Planted on classic Garonne gravel, the vineyards of Lynch‑Bages deliver ripe, concentrated fruit with firm acidity and mineral backbone. The summer pattern in 2001 — warm early season followed by cooler conditions — produced wines with graceful tension rather than muscular extraction.
Service: Decant 30–60 minutes to open aromatics and soften edges. Serve with rich red meats, game or aged cheeses.
