2020 Les Hauts de Smith Rouge (375 ml)

史密夫拉菲二牌 2020 是來自 Pessac‑Léognan 名莊的彈性之作,酒體中等偏豐,入口即感到飽滿果香與鮮明酸度,帶有紅、黑果實、橙皮點綴和微妙的巧克力與香料氣息。單寧細緻、質感滑順,餘韻帶有一抹煙燻與熟果的溫暖。

Les Hauts de Smith 2020 is the refined second label from Château Smith Haut Lafitte — a Cru Classé estate in Pessac‑Léognan run by the Cathiard family. The nose opens with ripe red and black fruits, candied orange peel and hints of dark chocolate and spice. On the palate it is medium-bodied, juicy and layered, supported by fine, polished tannins and a lingering, savory finish.

Winemaking follows estate precision: grapes are sorted twice (before and after destemming) and undergo fermentation without pressing. Gentle extraction via punch‑downs and occasional pump‑overs at 26–28°C with vat-specific macerations of 4–6 weeks preserves freshness and silky texture. The wine ages 14 months in barrels (20% new) made in the château’s own cooperage, giving well-integrated oak spice without overpowering the fruit. Drink now–over the next two decades depending on cellar conditions.
