A concentrated, cool‑climate expression from Eden Valley's Yacca Block, this 2020 shows deep black-fruit aromas—blackberry, black cherry and plum—lifted by cracked black pepper, dark chocolate and cedar spice. The palate is broad and focused: ripe core fruit, plush mid‑palate weight, fine-grained yet building tannins and a mineral thread through the finish. Produced by Two Hands under winemaker Ben Perkins, the fruit is hand-picked from low-yielding blocks on high‑altitude sites; small-batch fermentation and careful extraction preserve purity while maturation in a mix of new and seasoned French oak adds spice and structure. Best served after an hour of decanting to open the aromatics; pairs beautifully with grilled and roasted red meats and mature cheeses.
