Tasting note

The 2005 Echo de Lynch Bages Chateau Haut-Bages Averous is a remarkable wine from the esteemed Pauillac appellation in Bordeaux. This wine offers a complex bouquet of blackcurrant, cedar, and tobacco, with earthy undertones and hints of plum and spice. The wine is well-structured with firm tannins, balanced acidity, and a full body, leading to a long, satisfying finish. Produced by the renowned Famille JM Cazes, this wine is aged in one-year-old French oak barrels for 12 months, adding depth and complexity to its flavor profile. The grapes are hand-picked and sorted at the vineyard, ensuring only the best quality fruit is used. The terroir of Garonne Gravel contributes to the wine's unique character. This wine pairs beautifully with grilled lamb, roast beef, aged cheeses, and mushroom risotto.
