Tasting note: Bright and focused, this single‑lieu‑dit bottling opens with zesty lemon and lime, green apple skin and a pronounced flinty/mineral core. The palate is taut and precise, driven by brisk acidity, subtle saline notes and a lingering, stony finish. Producer notes: From the Schieferkopf site under the Michel Chapoutier ownership, the wine expresses a clear sense of place — cool soils and careful vineyard work produce concentrated, terroir-driven fruit. Winemaking notes: Gentle whole-bunch pressing, cool fermentation and careful lees contact preserve freshness and aromatic clarity while adding textural lift. Vineyard notes: Lieu-dit Buehl sits on stony, well-draining soils that emphasize minerality and racy acidity; vines are managed for low yields and balanced ripeness. Serve chilled and allow a short 15–30 minute breath to open the aromatics. Drinking window: 2024–2032.
