Tasting note
Tasting note: Pale salmon-pink with persistent, fine bubbles. Aromas of fresh red berries—strawberry and raspberry—lifted by citrus zest and gentle brioche from lees aging. On the palate it is lively and precise: creamy mid-palate texture counterbalanced by electric acidity and a saline-mineral thread that carries to a clean, lingering finish. Producer notes: From Champagne Vincent Bliard, a grower-producer focused on Premier Cru parcels and small-batch cuvées. The Libre Comme l'Air rosé expresses a terroir-first philosophy and an approachable, celebratory style. Winemaking notes: Made by traditional method with careful blending and a touch of skin contact to build rosé hue and structure. Fermentation and ageing on the lees contribute brioche and creamy texture while maintaining a restrained dosage (Brut) to preserve vibrancy. Vineyard notes: Sourced from selected Premier Cru sites where cool clay and chalky soils lend saline lift and freshness. Grapes are hand-harvested with emphasis on healthy fruit and early picking to retain acidity and aromatic precision. Serving: Chill to 8–10°C and decant briefly (or open 15 minutes before serving) to allow the aromatics to open. An elegant choice for celebrations, pairing well with richer seafood, spicy dishes and berry-forward desserts.
