2013 Domaine Fourrier Gevrey Chambertin Vieilles Vignes

The 2013 Domaine Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes is a testament to the art of Burgundian winemaking. This wine, with its savory and classic profile, offers a symphony of ripe black-cherry fruit that dances on the palate with a beautifully silken texture. The vines, planted between 1928 and 1955, are deeply rooted in limestone-clay soils, contributing to the wine's notable complexity and mineral thrust. With a tannic backbone and robust structure, this wine promises to evolve gracefully. Aged for 18-20 months in neutral barrels, it has developed a harmonious balance that will complement a variety of rich dishes.
