Tasting note

品飲筆記:酒色深邃,初聞有黑莓與李子果香,底層帶些煙草、雪松和礦物氣息,還有細緻的橡木香與溫和香草調。入口果實豐厚但不失清晰酸度,丹寧緊緻有力,口感紮實而均衡,收結中等偏長。釀造與田間:城堡坐落在左岸瑪歌與聖朱利安之間的砂礫好地塊,採取綜合栽培(Terra Vitis®)注重環境與果實品質。2011 年為晚夏回溫的一年,9 月中旬開始機械採收並以光學分選確保成熟度。釀造手法偏柔和、選擇性萃取,法國橡木桶陳 12–14 個月(約三成新桶),以蛋白澄清並傳統換桶。建議醒酒約一小時,配紅肉或熟成乳酪風味更佳。

Tasting note: Deep ruby colour opening to a core of blackberry and plum with underrows of tobacco, cedar and subtle graphite. Herbal, slightly leafy notes frame the fruit while French oak provides spice and gentle vanilla. On the palate the wine is ripe and structured — concentrated dark fruit balanced by fresh acidity and firm, refined tannins leading to a medium–long finish. Producer notes & vineyard: Château Beaumont sits on the left bank between Margaux and Saint‑Julien, drawing finesse from deep gravel soils. The estate follows integrated viticulture (Terra Vitis®) to protect the environment and optimise fruit quality. The 2011 season was marked by early ripening with harvest between 13–27 September. Winemaking & ageing: Grapes are machine‑harvested with optical sorting to pick optimal maturity. Vinification is soft and selective to extract balanced colour, tannin and aromatics. The wine spent 12–14 months in French oak (about 30% new) to preserve fruit expression; it is fined with egg whites and racked traditionally. Best enjoyed after an hour of decanting to allow the tannins to open. Serve with: grilled or roasted red meats, braised dishes and matured cheeses.

Château Beaumont is a Cru Bourgeois estate on the left bank of the Gironde, positioned between Margaux and Saint‑Julien. Owned by Grands Millésimes de France, the domaine farms with integrated viticulture on deep gravel soils. Production methods blend modern sorting and machine harvesting with traditional ageing in French oak.
