大摩12年是高地經典單一麥芽,先在美國白橡木(前波本桶)熟成,最後轉入稀有陳年Oloroso雪莉桶封尾。香氣先是鮮明的柑橘與西西里橙皮,接著是香料、可可與奶油橡木的層次。入口圓潤飽滿,乾果與蜜漬橙的甜美、香草的柔和,末段則轉為烘焙咖啡與黑巧克力的微苦回甘。口感厚實卻不笨重,雪莉桶帶來的乾果與堅果香讓尾韻悠長。酒廠由資深調酒大師Richard Paterson把關,產地環繞高地的麥田與海風吹拂,水源清冽。建議用郁金香杯,開瓶後靜置10–20分鐘再飲,能更好展現層次。無論配巧克力、硬質起司或是煙燻火腿,都相當對味。
The Dalmore 12 is a classic Highland single malt matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks and finished in rare, aged Oloroso Sherry casks. The nose opens with bright citrus and Seville orange, layered with aromatic spices, cocoa and creamy oak. On the palate you’ll find rich dried fruits, candied orange peel and vanilla pods, moving into darker notes of roasted coffee and bittersweet dark chocolate. The Oloroso finish brings a nutty, sherry-driven warmth and long, slightly bitter-sweet close. Produced under the watchful eye of Master Distiller Richard Paterson and owned by Whyte & Mackay, this whisky balances elegance and mouthfilling richness—serve in a tulip glass, let it breathe for 10–20 minutes and enjoy neat or with a drop of water to open the aromatics.
