葡萄園細節:主要來自兩塊地:Podernovone(海拔約500公尺,西南向,1998年植)與Canalicchio(海拔約250公尺,西北向,1989年植)。
Tasting note: Bright red-berry fruit—raspberry and cherry—meets a savory, smoky undercurrent with hints of licorice, dried herbs and cedar. The palate is full-bodied, framed by dense but polished, velvety tannins and lively acidity, finishing long and refined. Producer notes: From the Gianni Brunelli estate in Montalcino, this Riserva comes from selected parcels with mature plantings and a clear focus on site expression. Hand-harvested fruit is handled gently to preserve clarity and vigor. Winemaking notes: Fermentation is carried out at 27–28°C for 5–6 days, followed by an extended maceration of 12–16 days (peaking at 32°C). The wine is matured for 24–30 months in large Slavonian oak casks (25–30 hl), yielding subtle oak support and a structured backbone. Vineyard notes: Fruit is sourced from two notable sites: Podernovone (alt. 500 m, south-west exposure, planted 1998) and Canalicchio (alt. 250 m, north-west exposure, planted 1989). Soils are a mix of galestro, schist, limestone, sand and white clay. Vines are cordon trained and spur pruned. Harvest is entirely hand-picked into boxes. Serving suggestion: Decant for about 60–90 minutes to allow the wine to open; pair with braised or roasted red meats, rich tomato sauces, or mature cheeses.
