Tasting note: Bright, bold and coffee-forward — Intense Arabica opens with rich espresso roast, dark chocolate and cocoa powder, layered over sweet oak and vanilla. Mid-palate reveals tiramisu-like creaminess, a touch of ginger spice and dried fruit, finishing long, warming and slightly dry with a refined oak echo. Producer notes: Part of The Macallan Harmony Collection, this annual limited edition was inspired by the Ethiopian Arabica bean. The team sought to capture the aromatic intensity of Arabica coffee, producing a whisky that evokes espresso, dark chocolate and tiramisu in a single-malt expression. Winemaking/distilling notes: Distilled at The Macallan, this single malt is matured in carefully selected oak casks to develop sweet oak, vanilla and baking-spice characters. Bottled at 44% ABV with a T‑top cork closure, it balances concentrated flavour with a smooth, approachable texture. Vineyard/field notes: Crafted in Speyside, the whisky reflects The Macallan’s close relationship with the region — pristine spring water, locally sourced barley and a climate that yields barley with even ripeness. Though not a wine, the spirit’s character is shaped by the casks and the distillery’s wood‑management expertise.
