Tasting note

Tasting note: Deep ruby with garnet edges, this Médoc offers a core of blackcurrant and black cherry layered with ripe plum, cedar and a hint of tobacco. Secondary notes of leather, graphite and warm vanilla from oak emerge with air, supported by firm, polished tannins and balanced acidity. Producer notes: From the portfolio of Bernard Magrez, this cuvée reflects the house’s commitment to classic Bordeaux structure and careful oak integration. Winemaking notes: Fermented in small temperature-controlled stainless steel vats with an average maceration of 28–30 days, then matured for 16 months in oak barrels to round the tannins and add spice and vanilla nuances. Vineyard notes: Sourced from Médoc vineyards characterized by gravelly, well-draining soils and a maritime climate, the fruit shows ripe concentration with an underlying mineral frame. Serve: decant 60–90 minutes to allow tertiary notes to open. Pair with grilled or roasted red meats, game and mature cheeses.
