The 2009 Echo de Lynch Bages Chateau Haut-Bages Averous is a remarkable wine from the esteemed Pauillac appellation in Bordeaux. This vintage showcases a deep color with enticing aromas of red fruits and elegant notes of well-integrated oak. On the palate, it offers a good structure with ripe, characterful tannins, and a smooth yet powerful finish. The wine is crafted from a blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, and 11% Cabernet Franc, aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. The terroir of Garonne Gravel and the meticulous hand-picking and sorting of grapes contribute to its exceptional quality. Managed by Jean-Charles Cazes and owned by the Cazes family, the winery is known for its meticulous winemaking process, including hand-picking and sorting of grapes, and aging in French oak barrels.
