品飲筆記:2019 年的 La Dame 呈現深寶石紅色調,開瓶即散發烏黑莓類與成熟紅果的香氣,伴隨紫羅蘭、雪松與煙草葉的細緻氣息,還有些許香料和可可的暗香。口感中等偏厚、質地細緻而絲滑,果實濃郁但不膩,單寧結實而有抓感,酸度支撐整體,尾韻帶礦物感與辛香,收得長且優雅。 酒莊與出品:這是 Château Montrose 的第二款酒,自 1983 年問世以來以穩定性聞名,釀造理念沿襲一軍的嚴謹標準,但風格更直接易近,通常較早進入成熟期,產量約佔園區總產的 40–45%。 釀造工藝:本瓶在法國橡木桶中熟成約 12 個月,橡木為佐味而非主導,保留果香的純粹與香料的深度。採用天然軟木塞封瓶,酒體經過細膩處理,既適合短期賞飲也具備陳年潛力。 葡萄園風土:蒙特羅斯擁有連綿 95 公頃的集中園塊,地表為礫石混砂,上層覆於富含黏土的下層,排水良好且具深層蓄水能力,地質被稱為「菁英核」,為生產結構明確、層次分明的酒款提供理想條件。 建議飲用期:約 2025 到 2044 年,開瓶前建議醒酒一小時左右,享受果香與單寧逐步融合的變化。

Tasting Note: Deep garnet-purple, La Dame de Montrose 2019 opens with bright, evocative aromas of black raspberries, boysenberries and cassis, underpinned by violet, cedar, tobacco leaf and a spicy, slightly roasted note. The palate is medium-to-full-bodied with a fine-grained, silky texture, firm dark tannins and enough freshness to balance concentrated dark-fruit layers. The finish is long, spicy and mineral-tinged. Producer Notes: La Dame de Montrose is the estate’s second label, created in 1983 as a tribute and made to the same rigorous standards as the First Wine. It reflects the château's terroir in a more immediate and approachable style, typically reaching maturity sooner. Production represents roughly 40–45% of the estate's annual yield. Winemaking Notes: Fermented and matured for approximately 12 months in French oak, this bottling shows careful oak integration—toast and spice framing rather than dominating the fruit. Bottled under cork and designed for near- to mid-term enjoyment while retaining cellar potential. Vineyard Notes: Château Montrose benefits from a single, contiguous 95-hectare estate surrounding the château and cellars. The terroir is characterised by gravel and sand over a clay-rich subsoil with excellent natural drainage toward the estuary; these 'elite cores' provide deep water reserves and ideal conditions for producing concentrated, structured wines. Ageing & Drinking Window: Approaches drinkability from the mid-2020s and will develop through the 2030s and beyond (recommended drinking window 2025–2044).

Château Montrose is a historic Médoc estate known for its powerful, structured wines. The property comprises a contiguous 95-hectare vineyard surrounding the château and cellars, an unusual and highly advantageous layout that allows consistent care of parcels. The soils—gravel and sand over clay—offer natural drainage and deep reserves, producing wines with concentration and longevity. Ownership under Martin and Olivier Bouygues has maintained rigorous standards across the estate's top and second labels.
