Tasting note
Tasting Note: Bright and focused on the nose with citrus peel, green apple and white peach lifted by a distinct wet-stone / flint minerality and a hint of smoked herbal notes. The palate is crisp and energetic — racy acidity frames taut fruit, a saline mineral core and a chalky mid-palate texture that leads to a persistent, stony finish. Producer Notes: From a family-run domaine in Pouilly-Fumé, l'Odyssee expresses the estate's attention to terroir and detail. Fruit is harvested selectively to capture freshness and the vineyard’s characteristic silex influence. Winemaking Notes: Fermented with temperature control to preserve aromatics, the wine benefits from careful lees contact and gentle élevage to add texture without obscuring the purity. Minimal intervention in cellar to maintain clarity and the site’s mineral signature. Vineyard Notes: Sited on flinty, silex-rich soils with good drainage and exposure, vines are managed for low yields and concentrated fruit. The result is a precise expression of site — lean, mineral-driven and built for freshness.
