The palate is broad and concentrated yet retains classic Médoc structure — firm but integrated tannins, a lively backbone and an expansive, persistent finish.
Producer notes: From a 2ème Cru Classé estate owned by the Cuvelier family, the vineyards are dispersed across roughly 80 hectares in Saint-Julien, including a contiguous 20-hectare block (Château Moulin Riche) that brings focused terroir expression. Vine age averages around 38 years, contributing to depth and complexity.
Winemaking: Grapes undergo meticulous double sorting (hand sorting on tables followed by optical sorting), pre-fermentation cold maceration and daily pump-overs through fermentation. Since 2018 non-saccharomyces yeasts have been used early in the vinification to reduce SO2 use; wines age exclusively 18 months in carefully selected French oak barrels with malolactic fermentation carried out in barrel for suppleness and stability.
Vineyard notes: The varied soils and parcel-by-parcel approach across Saint-Julien produce wines with classic balance of power and finesse.
