品飲筆記：打開瓶蓋先是溫暖的草本蜜香與柔和泥煤味，接著有焦糖糖果、烤杏乾與柑橘皮的亮點，整體帶著香草木桶的香氣。入口圓潤滑順，麥芽甜感與細緻煙燻、溫和的烘烤香料交織，尾韻綿長，餘味留有蜜糖與香橡木的暖意。 酒廠與生產：來自奧克尼的 Highland Park，帶有濃厚的維京傳承與手工風格，屬於 The Edrington Group 的精品單一麥芽。本次 15 年 Viking Heart 版本延續酒廠以草本蜜香與海風泥煤為核心的調性。 釀造與熟成：採用傳統樓板發芽的大麥，蒸餾後於約 15 年在精選美國橡木與歐洲雪莉桶中熟成，既保留麥芽的甜潤，又讓香料與木桶香慢慢堆疊出層次。 田野與風土：奧克尼島海風冷冽，泥煤與乾草的燃燒傳統賦予威士忌獨特的海島個性——不是猛烈的煙熏，而是像海邊野花與蜜糖混著鹹風的細緻風味。口感上偏圓潤、有嚼勁但不厚重，適合慢慢品味。

Tasting note: Rich honeyed heather on the nose meets gentle Orkney peat — think warm toffee, dried apricot and bright citrus peel layered over vanilla and toasted oak. The palate is rounded and silky, malt sweetness tempered by a refined smokiness and soft baking spice, finishing long and warming with lingering honey and oak spice. Producer notes: From Highland Park, a distillery rooted in Orkney's Viking heritage and now part of The Edrington Group. This 15-year release—branded Viking Heart—shows the house signature balance of coastal peat and floral heather honey. Distillation & maturation: Crafted from floor-malted barley and distilled on site, then matured for 15 years in a thoughtful mix of casks (including seasoned American oak and European sherry casks) to build sweetness, spice and oak complexity while keeping peat restrained. Site & raw materials: Orkney's cool maritime climate, sea air and traditional peat-burning malting contribute subtle smoke and briny freshness. The result is a full-bodied single malt that pairs richness with finesse.
