Terre d'Irizee Extra Brut from Regis Poissinet is a precision-driven Champagne showing vibrant citrus and green apple lifted by brioche and toasted notes. The fine mousse and mineral thread give it an energetic, almost steely profile: taut acidity, focused mid-palate pressure and a clean, saline finish. Made by traditional method with extended lees ageing and a very low dosage (1.7 g/L), the wine was blended from older base vintages and matured partly in stainless steel with a small portion in used barriques, producing complexity without weight. Disgorged in 2022, it offers immediate appeal while retaining classical aging potential for those who prefer a bit more development. Serve well chilled alongside shellfish, delicate fried dishes or a soft cheese course.
