Mid-palate shows creamy texture and toasted almond notes, supported by fine oak and a clear stony minerality that leads to a persistent, saline finish. Producer notes: From a family-run estate in Santenay, this Premier Cru Beaurepaire bottling reflects a focus on terroir-driven whites from steep, well-drained slopes. The domaine concentrates on careful vineyard selection and low-yield plots to concentrate flavour. Winemaking: Hand-harvested fruit was gently whole-bunch pressed, with fermentation in French oak barrels and temperature-controlled stainless tanks depending on parcel. Part of the cuvée sees élevage on fine lees with occasional bâtonnage to build texture while preserving freshness. Vineyard: The Beaurepaire Premier Cru site benefits from limestone-rich soils and full sun exposure on mid-slope aspects, contributing a tight mineral core and lively acidity. Yields are managed to favour concentration and balance. Serve slightly chilled and allow a short airing (about 20–40 minutes) if you open ahead of time.
