Tasting note
Iron Balls Gin is a Thai-crafted spirit that marries classic juniper character with bright citrus and a backdrop of Southeast Asian botanicals. Aromas open with piney juniper and zesty citrus peel, followed by lemongrass, coriander-like warmth and a touch of peppery spice. On the palate it feels medium-bodied for a gin — lively and focused, with clean citrus drive and an herbal, slightly resinous mid-palate that carries through to a spiced, lingering finish. Produced in small batches, the distillation emphasizes clarity of botanicals so the gin works beautifully in a classic G&T, citrus-forward cocktails, or simply neat over ice. Producer notes: handcrafted by Iron Balls Distillery in Thailand with attention to sourcing aromatic local botanicals and careful cut points during distillation. Winemaking/production notes: distilled in copper pot stills in limited runs; no oak aging—focus is on botanical expression and balance. Botanical sourcing/vineyard notes: botanicals include traditional juniper alongside Asian aromatics harvested for freshness; the warm tropical climate imparts bright citrus oils and fragrant herbal notes to the blend.
