Tasting Note: Jack Daniel’s Black Label Old No.7 is a classic Tennessee whiskey with a balanced nose of vanilla, caramel, soft maple and toasted oak, interlaced with sweet spice and a hint of cocoa. The palate is medium to medium‑full with a concentrated mid‑palate — sweet oak and vanilla take the lead while a gentle warmth and spirituous backbone keeps it lively. The finish is warming and relatively dry, with lingering caramel and oak notes. Producer & Distillery Notes: Made in Lynchburg following the century‑old tradition: sour mash distillation, mellowed drop by drop through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal (the Lincoln County Process), then matured in handcrafted American oak barrels. The team still rely on sight, smell and taste to judge readiness — a hands‑on approach passed down through generations. Master Distiller: Chris Fletcher. Winemaking/Production Notes: This bottling uses a sour mash method and is charcoal‑filtered before barreling, which softens harsher congeners and gives the spirit its distinctive smoothness.
