The Auspicious Qilin is a Limited Edition 2019 release from Johnnie Walker's Blue Label collection. Qilin or Chinese unicorn is a mythical beast, similar to a dragon, that symbolizes good luck and prosperity. Adorned with intricate, gold-foiled designs, the bottle reflects a deep respect for tradition.
Nose: Notes of oak, dried fruit, pastries and spices.
Taste: Chocolate, grass, malt and hints of smoke.
Finish: Medium-long, with dried fruit, spice and honey.

Johnnie Walker is arguably the most popular and recognisable blended Scotch on the market. Its core range includes the standard Red Label and Black Label, introduced in 1909 and named, quite simply, after their packaging. The iconic “striding man” motif was first drawn by Tom Browne the year prior. The premium Blue Label brand was introduced in 1992 and is composed using malt whisky from some of the most sought-after distilleries in Diageo's extensive portfolio.

Producer notes: crafted by Johnnie Walker/Diageo's blending team using a selection of rare single malts and grain whiskies from across Scotland, finished in high-quality oak casks to add depth and complexity. Distillation & maturation: the blend combines whiskies of varying ages and cask histories to balance smoke, sweetness and wood-driven spice. Vineyard notes (adapted): ingredients originate from Scottish barley and pure water sources; the character comes from regional malt styles and careful cask selection rather than vineyard terroir. Serve slightly rested in the glass (about 10–20 minutes) or with a splash of water to unlock aromatic layers. Ideal for contemplative sipping or paired with intense, savory flavors.
