Chateau Bourgneuf 2020 is a stunning expression of Pomerol's terroir, crafted by the Vayron family, who have owned the estate since 1821. This wine showcases a rich bouquet of black cherries, plums, and violets, complemented by notes of licorice, espresso, and chocolate. The palate is full-bodied with polished tannins and a mineral-driven finish. The vineyard, with its west-facing slopes and iron-rich subsoil, nurtures 40-year-old vines, while the winemaking process involves fermentation in concrete tanks and aging in French oak barrels (35% new) for 12-14 months. A wine of elegance and depth, it pairs beautifully with beef, lamb, or hearty dishes.
