The 2014 L'Aventure Estate Cuvee is a masterful blend from the renowned Paso Robles region. Crafted by the maverick winemaker Stephan Asseo, this wine showcases the best of estate-grown fruit from L’Aventure Vineyard. With a very low yield of 1.5 to 2 tons per acre, the wine is rich and intense, boasting dark fruit flavors, spice, and a touch of oak. Aged for 15 months in 81% new French oak and 19% 1-year old French oak, it has a robust structure with firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. Perfectly paired with grilled lamb, beef stew, aged cheddar, or roasted vegetables, this wine is a testament to innovative winemaking and the unique terroir of Paso Robles.
