Elegant Premier Cru from the Morgeot Vigne Blanche parcel, this 2021 shows a poised mix of citrus peel, ripe orchard fruit and fine toasty hazelnut on the nose. The palate is silky and slightly creamy with bright, chiselled acidity that lifts flavors of lemon curd, pear and a saline mineral thread. Gentle oak seasoning and subtle vanilla from élevage frame the fruit without overpowering it. Produced by a respected Chassagne domaine, grapes are hand-harvested from well-sited, limestone-rich slopes and vinified with careful whole-pressing, barrel fermentation and measured bâtonnage, followed by partial malolactic to retain freshness. Drink now through its drinking window for both early charm and short-to-medium term ageing.
