Tasting note
Tasting note: Bright red-fruit aromatics — cherry, raspberry and a hint of wild strawberry — open to savory, forest-floor and mushroom nuances. The palate is medium-bodied with lively, finely tuned acidity, silky, well-integrated tannins and a mineral-tinged, persistent finish. Producer notes: From the estate's Clos du Château monopole in Chassagne-Montrachet, the wine reflects careful vineyard work in a single, walled parcel. Winemaking notes: Crafted in the traditional Burgundian manner, parcels are hand-harvested, fermented with attention to gentle extraction and matured in French oak barrels (a portion in newer oak) to preserve freshness and terroir expression. Vineyard notes: Clay-limestone soils on classic Côte de Beaune exposures give pronounced minerality and structure; low yields and meticulous canopy work concentrate flavours and ensure balance. Drink within its recommended window for best development; decant if serving young.
