    Chichibu Ken's Choice is a legendary collaboration that shatters stereotypes, blending the elegance of Japanese craft with the soul of American bourbon. This is a "transoceanic marriage of Eastern and Western souls," born from the meeting of Ichiro Akuto, the god of Japanese craft whisky, and Ken Matsuyama, the Tokyo godfather of bourbon and jazz.

    The series is celebrated for its unprecedented double-oaked journey. The spirit is typically distilled in Kentucky, USA, maturing for several years in virgin American white oak casks to develop rich notes of vanilla, caramel, and coconut. These casks then travel across the Pacific to the Chichibu Distillery in Saitama Prefecture, Japan.

    At Chichibu, the whisky undergoes a secondary maturation in custom casks, shaped by the region's extreme microclimate of scorching summers and freezing winters. This meticulous process coaxes out a unique depth and complexity, resulting in a truly divine expression of craftsmanship that bridges two distinct whisky cultures.
