Échezeaux lies in Flagey-Échezeaux in the Côte de Nuits, among Burgundy’s most revered Grand Crus, beside Clos de Vougeot and the vineyards of Vosne-Romanée. Planted exclusively to Pinot Noir across around 36.27 hectares, its varied slopes, soils, and elevations create a mosaic of distinct terroirs.

Official Burgundy notes describe young Échezeaux through rose, violet, and fresh cherry, evolving with age toward spice, underbrush, leather, and mushroom. Supple tannins and a dense, finely grained texture reward several years of bottle ageing.
