Tasting Note: Deep, clear garnet with violet hues. The bouquet evolves from fresh cherries and violets to complex notes of leather, damp woodland, mushroom and mulberry, finishing with spice and dried prune. On the palate it is serene and composed — rich, full-bodied and exceptionally harmonious with silky tannins and layered savory depth. Producer Notes: This Grand Cru shows classic development with age: hints of pepper, musk, game and preserved fruit join floral and woodland aromas. The structure is solid and elegant, a true expression of a single terroir. Winemaking Notes: Fruit is hand-sorted at the winery and matured 100% in new oak barrels, emphasizing fine-grained tannin integration and long ageing potential. Vineyard Notes: Vines are planted on clay-rich soils over Bajocian limestone. Domaine holdings in the appellation total roughly 1.44 ha; vine age ranges from about 40 to 68 years, contributing concentrated, refined fruit and true terroir expression.
