Bright, savory Haut-Médoc with a core of pure dark fruit and spice. Aromas of blackcurrant and blueberry mingle with cedar, tobacco and a touch of bitter cocoa. On the palate the wine is juicy and full-bodied, framed by fine yet present tannins and a lively acidity that carries a long, fresh finish. Producer notes highlight purity of fruit and great aromatic intensity. The 2018 wine was harvested between late September and mid-October, vinified with careful sorting (manual and mechanical) and aged 15 months in French oak (30% new). Vineyards sit on deep gravel terroir, a classic Médoc site that brings structure and minerality. A Cru Bourgeois estate producing a polished, savory vintage ideal with red meats and aged cheeses.
