The 2017 'Secret Block' from Two Hands is a concentrated Barossa expression that marries plush dark-fruit depth with savoury spice and polished oak. On the nose, ripe blackberry and plum lead, with layers of black pepper, cocoa and toasted cedar. The palate is full-bodied and generous: dense fruit core framed by rounded, structured tannins and a touch of mocha and vanilla from extended oak ageing. While powerful, the wine maintains balance through lively acidity and a long, resonant finish. Made with meticulous vineyard selection and attention in the winery, this release rewards moderate decanting and pairs superbly with grilled and roasted red meats or mature cheeses.

Two Hands Wines is a leading Australian producer known for single-block and single-vineyard bottlings that showcase warm-climate intensity with careful winemaking. For this release, winemaker Ben Perkins and the viticulture team led by Travis Coombe selected a standout parcel managed for concentration and balance. Fruit was handled gently, with fermentation tailored to extract ripe tannins and extended oak ageing used to add texture and spice without overwhelming primary fruit.
