Producer notes: Created by Ichiro Akuto, grandson of the Hanyu founder, Chichibu Distillery (opened 2007) benefits from marked seasonal shifts that help develop lively, expressive whiskies. The "Double Distilleries" concept celebrates spirit character from more than one still-house tradition while remaining true to Chichibu's style. Winemaking (distillation) notes: Crafted as a pure malt blend from malted-barley distillates, matured in a range of casks to balance fruit-forward freshness with oak-derived spice and sweetness.
