Orchard-fruit notes and honeyed richness give way to a long, gently drying oak finish. Producer Notes: Crafted under Ichiro Akuto—grandson of the Hanyu founder—this Classical Edition celebrates the Chichibu spirit of precision and balance. The blend draws on malt and grain components from diverse sources, assembled to showcase harmony and accessibility. Distilling & Maturation: The whiskies are carefully married from malt and grain distillates, matured across a selection of cask types to build depth and texture. The result is a medium‑full-bodied whisky with layered sweet and savory elements and a persistent finish. Grain & Terroir: Grain selection and temperate seasonal variation contribute to the spirit’s delicate malt character and cereal backbone. The blend emphasizes clean malt, toasted nut notes and restrained oak, reflecting meticulous sourcing and blending.
