Tasting note

A bright, incisive young dry from a top Mosel producer. The nose opens with citrus zest, green apple and a whisper of white peach, backed by cool slate minerality and delicate floral notes. On the palate it is clean and focused — taut acidity drives a lively mid-palate threaded with saline, savoury tones and a persistent, chalky finish. Winemaking emphasizes site expression: hand-harvested fruit, careful sorting and cool fermentations to retain aromatics, with minimal intervention to showcase the vineyard’s stony soils. Best served well-chilled; brief aeration (about 30 minutes) lets the aromas spread and the texture soften slightly.
