A poised village Morey-Saint-Denis from Domaine Pierre Amiot et Fils, the 2021 vintage opens with bright red berry aromas—cherry, raspberry and a hint of cranberry—layered with rose petal, forest-floor notes and a whisper of spice. On the palate it offers lively acidity and medium body, framed by silky, fine-grained tannins and a mineral undercurrent that keeps the finish elegant and persistent. The producer works with small, well-sited parcels in Morey-Saint-Denis; fruit is picked by hand, vinified with gentle extraction and matured carefully in French oak to preserve clarity and terroir. Drink now with a short decant or cellar a few years to let the tertiary notes deepen.
