A concentrated yet poiseful Premier Cru from a small Aux Combottes parcel. Aromas leap from the glass with vivid red cherry and bright red berry notes, edged by subtle spice and forest-floor earthiness. The palate is medium-bodied with precise acidity and very fine, well-integrated tannins, finishing long, polished and focused. Made from a tiny half-hectare plot and matured in small oak barrels (about 40% new), the wine reflects careful élevage and the stony, clay-limestone soils of Combottes. Drink now with gentle decanting or cellar through the drinking window (2026–2035) for added complexity.
