Tasting note: Rich and inviting, this 18‑year expression opens with baked orange peel, dried figs and raisin sweetness, layered over honeyed vanilla, toffee and gentle cinnamon spice. Midpalate shows warm caramel, soft oak spice and a suggestion of ginger; the texture is silky with a rounded, mature core. Winemaking (maturation) notes: Matured predominantly in sherry-seasoned oak with complementary ex-bourbon casks, the whisky displays concentrated dried fruit and nutmeg from the sherry influence while bourbon casks give vanilla and caramel lift.
