A concentrated, expressive red from the sunny Cotes du Brian, Les Combettes opens with deep aromas of blackberry, black cherry and a perfume of Mediterranean garrigue. On the palate it delivers rich dark-fruit core framed by black pepper and cocoa notes, supported by smooth yet firm tannins and lively acidity. Subtle cedar and baking-spice from measured oak ageing add structure without overwhelming the fruit, leading to a long, savoury finish. Drink now with 45 minutes decanting, or cellar through 2031 for further integration.
