Tasting note

品飲筆記:酒色深紅,前段有黑莓、黑醋栗與深紅果實香,緊接著雪松、煙草與森林潮土的複雜氣息。口感中等偏厚,酸度清爽但不張狂,單寧紮實且帶些鹹香與礦質感,餘韻乾淨且持久。 酒莊與產區:波坦薩位於北梅多克的高地,家族(Delon)長期細心經營。葡萄園植於石灰岩基底,上覆黏土與大量礫石,排水佳、熱量集中,少數園區已有超過七十五年的老藤,穩定供應成熟、健壯的果實。 釀造重點:2012 年春季較冷且多雨,生長節奏較慢但自七月中旬起迎來良好晴朗的熟成期,採收期落在十月初到十月中旬,果實健康。酒款以橡木桶熟成、瓶塞封口,呈現經典梅多克的結構與陳年潛力。試飲時建議醒酒 45–60 分鐘,能讓香氣更開放、單寧變得更柔和。 口感建議:適合搭配烤牛排、燒羊排、野味與陳年奶酪,或是些帶香料的燉肉,城市周末聚餐也很合適。

Tasting note: Deep ruby with aromas of black currant, dark cherry, cedar, tobacco and a faint forest-floor lift. The palate is medium-plus, showing ripe dark fruit framed by crisp acidity and firm, savory tannins. Oak adds cedar and subtle spice while an earthy undercurrent gives complexity; the finish is persistent and clean. Producer & vineyard: Château Potensac sits on one of the higher points of the northern Médoc. The estate, long managed by the Delon family (Les Domaines Delon), grows vines on limestone subsoil overlain by clay and a high proportion of gravel — terroir that delivers ripe, concentrated fruit from some parcels planted over 75 years ago. 2012 vintage notes: a cool, wet spring produced a late, staggered budburst, followed by a dry, sunny ripening period from mid-July; grapes were picked 3–17 October in very healthy condition. Winemaking & ageing: Hand-harvested in October, matured in oak (oaked), bottled under cork. The 2012 Potensac balances structure and freshness and will reward short- to medium-term cellaring; drinking window cited through 2032. Decant 45–60 minutes if serving now to open its aromatic profile. Food pairing: Built to partner with grilled or roasted red meats, game and mature cheeses — think ribeye, venison, lamb and Manchego.

Château Potensac is a traditional Médoc estate long managed by the Delon family (Les Domaines Delon). Positioned on one of the higher points of the northern Médoc, its vineyards sit on limestone with clay and a high proportion of gravel. Old-vine parcels and careful vineyard management produce ripe, healthy fruit that is typically aged in oak and bottled under cork; the estate is known for classic, structured Médoc wines with good ageing potential.
