Tasting note: Aromas of ripe peach, apricot and orange blossom lead into a honeyed core balanced by lively citrus zest and bright minerality. The palate is silk-smooth yet nervy, showing concentrated stone-fruit flavours, floral lifts and a clear, refreshing acidity that keeps the sweetness elegant rather than cloying. Producer notes: From the respected Markus Molitor estate in the Mosel, this Tradition release reflects the house focus on site expression, low yields and careful selection at harvest. Winemaking notes: Grapes are hand-harvested from steep, slate-rich sites, gently pressed and fermented at cool temperatures with fermentation deliberately halted to retain residual sweetness. Brief lees contact adds texture while neutral vessels preserve purity and aromatic lift. Vineyard notes: Steep terraces with slate soils and cool river-influenced climate produce bright fruit and pronounced minerality. The 2024 vintage shows vibrant ripeness with tempered alcohol, delivering a lively, food-friendly sweet wine.
