This 2015 Two Hands Wines Aerope Grenache from Barossa Valley, Australia is a deep garnet-colored wine with fragrant aromas of mulberries, Ceylon tea, and tobacco. It has a core of kirsch, dried red currants, potpourri, and spice cake. Full-bodied and generously fruited in the mouth, it has a nice burst of acid giving it lift and a medium level of very silky tannins supplying just enough texture, finishing long. It's a perfect match for red meat, cheese, and spicy food. Decant for an hour before serving to fully enjoy its flavors.
