Aberfeldy 21 Year Old is a Highland single malt that balances age, oak and a distinctly honeyed character. On the nose expect rich, honeyed granola, vanilla and ground almond with hints of orange and dried fruit; the palate is plush and creamy—producer notes describe macadamia, chewy beeswax, toasted coconut and silky oak with a trace of smoke. Aged 21 years in oak, this expression shows mature oak spice, layered dried fruit sweetness and a lingering, mouth-coating finish. Distilled at Aberfeldy and currently owned by Diageo, the whisky is bottled at 40% ABV with a T-top cork. Serve neat in a tulip glass or allow about 10 minutes breathing to open the aromatics. Pairs brilliantly with dark chocolate, mature cheeses, roasted nuts and rich game or pork dishes.
