Toasted oak and subtle baking spice frame a creamy mid-palate, finishing long with nutty and citrus highlights. Producer notes: Bottled as a special 2024 release from The Singleton series, the expression reflects the distillery's aim for approachability and depth. The distillery selects casks and monitors maturation to balance fruit sweetness with oak-derived spice and texture. Distillation & maturation: Double copper-pot distillation and patient maturation in carefully chosen oak casks yield a round, layered spirit. The maturation emphasis is on developing integrated vanilla, caramel and nutty notes while retaining lively fruit character. Vineyard / barley & sourcing: Though not a vineyard product, the whisky’s character begins with locally sourced malted barley and pure Highland water. The temperate coastal climate and well-drained barley fields around the distillery contribute to a clean, bright grain profile.
