Tasting note: Bright, aromatic and finely balanced — Dolin Vermouth de Chambéry Blanc opens with vivid citrus zest and orange blossom, layered with chamomile, subtle honey and a clean alpine-herb bitterness. The palate is lively and saline, with a light-to-medium body and a lingering, pleasantly dry finish. Producer notes: Crafted in Chambéry, Dolin’s blanc vermouth respects the AOC tradition of the region, focusing on clarity, freshness and a linear herbal profile. It is designed as both an aperitif and a mixing vermouth that adds finesse rather than sweetness. Winemaking notes: Made from local Savoy white base wines, the wine is fortified and gently aromatized through maceration of selected botanicals and citrus peels. After blending and subtle sweetening, the vermouth is rested to allow the botanicals to integrate, producing a clean, aromatic spirit around 16% alcohol. Vineyard notes: Base wines come from cool, high-altitude Savoie vineyards where limestone and alpine soils lend bright acidity and minerality. The cool climate preserves delicate aromatics that pair perfectly with the botanicals used in the vermouth.
