Tasting Note: A concentrated Meursault Premier Cru showing bright citrus and white orchard fruits layered with toasted hazelnut, beeswax and a pronounced flinty/mineral thread. The palate is broad and creamy yet driven by taut acidity and saline stoniness, finishing long and focused. Producer Notes: From Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur, run by Vincent and François Bitouzet, this cuvée expresses the character of Les Perrières—serious, mineral and ageworthy. The domaine favours low yields and attentive vineyard work to capture site purity. Winemaking Notes: Gentle whole-bunch pressing, cool fermentation and élevage in French oak followed by time on fine lees to build texture. Oak influence is present but measured, used to support the wine’s natural richness rather than dominate it. Vineyard Notes: Sourced from the shallow, limestone- and flint-rich parcels of Les Perrières, the vines sit on well-draining soils that encourage concentration and salinity. The site’s minerality and thin topsoil lend the wine its stony backbone and long finish.
