The 2022 Domini Veneti Lugana is a delightful wine from the Lugana DOC region, located on the southern shore of Lake Garda. This unoaked wine is made from 100% Trebbiano grapes, offering a straw-yellow color and a delicate aroma with notes of white-fleshed fruit and floral hints. Its fresh taste makes it a perfect companion for seafood, light pasta dishes, grilled vegetables, and fresh salads. The wine is produced by Cantina Valpolicella Negrar, with vineyards situated in the foothills 50 meters above sea level, on light clayey-limestone soils of morainic origin. The vines, aged between 20 to 30 years, are trained using the modified Veronese pergola system. The grapes are harvested between mid and late September, followed by a meticulous winemaking process involving soft pressing and fermentation at controlled temperatures.
